"Inspired by the Ones Who Raised Us Right"

We come from two different worlds—one of us a nurse, the other a tech engineer in Silicon Valley. But what brought us together wasn’t just love—it was the love we shared for our grandparents.

Both of us were raised by incredibly sway grandparents. The kind of people who wore vintage sunglasses before they were cool, who danced in the kitchen to old records, and gave the best life advice over a cup of tea. They weren’t just wise—they were full of life, full of soul.

As they grew older, we watched that light slowly dim—not because of age, but because of the lack of care options that truly honored who they were. Facilities were sterile. The routines were rigid. And the individuality they once radiated seemed to be overlooked.

So, we decided to do something about it.

We combined our strengths—my partner’s compassion and years of hands-on nursing care, and my background in tech and smart design—to build Serene Meadow Homes, a place where aging with dignity doesn’t mean giving up personality, independence, or joy.

Here, we use technology to streamline care behind the scenes, so our staff can spend more time connecting with residents. We offer vibrant activities, personal spaces that feel like home, and a culture that celebrates each resident's story—including the sway ones who still wear their leather jackets with pride.

This isn’t just assisted living—it’s living well. Just like our grandparents would’ve wanted.

And we think they’d be proud.
